Nigeria–EU Health Investment Forum
Concept
The EU Delegation to Nigeria and ECOWAS, in partnership with the Presidential Initiative on Unlocking the Healthcare Value Chain (PVAC) and the National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development (NIPRD), is organising a high-level signature event and Health Investment Forum on 30 October 2025 in Abuja, Nigeria. The event aims to advance the industrialisation of the health sector and foster sustainable Nigeria–EU partnerships.
The Nigeria–EU Health Investment Forum is a business-focused event that brings together key stakeholders from the health industry, including European companies, distributors, investors, and government agencies. The objective is to drive partnerships and investments in locally produced products. The Forum will feature pitch sessions and business-to-business (B2B) matchmaking meetings.
Purpose
This questionnaire is designed to ensure effective matchmaking. Participants will be pre-qualified and segmented by role and readiness. Each organisation is encouraged to clearly articulate its partnership or investment goals, such as seeking a joint venture, funding, or technology transfer. This will enable the Forum to serve as a deal-making platform.
To achieve this, we have prepared a set of questions to gather information about each organisation’s investment readiness, technical capacity, partnership goals, and expectations from the Forum. These questions are relevant to all stakeholders and will help the organisers (the EU Delegation, PVAC, and NIPRD) to plan the event and the matchmaking/pitch sessions accordingly.
